What happens when you don't limit your options.

I am a Managing Editor at Matador Network and editor of Brave New Traveler, the spiritual and philosophical site of Matador. I am also a Co-Founder of Confronting Love, whose mission is to challenge the status quo of our ideas of love and relationships.

I am interested in personal and spiritual growth. I believe our priority is to turn inwards, to learn how to be our true selves, and to express that outwardly. It's when we are the most open and loving that we can cause real (and positive) change in the world.

Why I decided to stop drinking I had an internal conversation with myself that night. I asked myself why I was drinking. I asked myself how it was serving me at this point in my life.

Seeking independent workers for social interaction This independent working lifestyle seems to get harder to take as time goes on. I have regular Skype meetings with my virtual team members…this is no substitute for real life, face-to-face interaction.

An evening of splatter painting We flung paint off brushes, squeezed it out of syringes, and popped balloons full of the stuff. It was a beautiful mess.
